Pedestals

The CarbonSeal pedestal strengthening systems provide the confinement and strengthening you need, plus protection from corrosion, chemicals or other aggressive environments. In industrial facilities, pedestals are used to support both Equipment – such as pumping systems – and Steel Column Supports. Vibrations caused during plant operations are transmitted to the concrete pedestals causing the concrete to crack and spall. The CarbonSeal system confines the cracks and protects the pedestal from future corrosion.
